Terms of Use

Welcome to One Tribe! These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the One Tribe mobile application (the “App”), operated by One Date Pte. Ltd. (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. How One Tribe Works

• One Tribe lets you privately share your live location with members of your “tribe” using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology.
• No internet is required after setup, except when you want to download offline maps.
• Only members of the same tribe can see each other's locations.
• To work properly, you must keep Bluetooth enabled on your device.

Important Note: One Tribe is not a replacement for internet-enabled location sharing apps (such as Find My or Life360). It is designed as a backup or emergency tool for when you and your tribe have no internet access.

2. Privacy & Data

• We do not create user accounts and do not collect or store personal information.
• Your location is only shared with members of your tribe via BLE.
• Locations are not uploaded to our servers.

3. Safety Disclaimer

• Stay aware of your surroundings. Do not rely on the App as your only means of navigation.
• We are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, loss, or damages that occur while using the App.
• The App's range is limited (up to ~30 meters under ideal conditions). Actual performance may vary depending on your device and environment.

4. Payment

• One Tribe is a one-time paid app.
• Once purchased, you may use it indefinitely on supported devices.
• All purchases are processed through the App Store / Google Play, and their policies on refunds apply.

5. Device Compatibility & Availability

• You are responsible for ensuring your device supports BLE.
• We do not guarantee the App will work on all devices or operating systems.
• We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the App at any time.

6. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes will be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will update the “Effective Date” date above.
